  • What does a full transformation include?
    Anything you need to turn the yard you have today into the yard you want. Our transformations commonly include demolition and removal of old hardscape, paver driveways and walkways, paver patios, fire pits, fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, BBQ islands, retaining walls, steps, synthetic lawn or sod, planting, irrigation, lighting, and pergolas or patio covers — all under one contract.
  • How long does a transformation take?
    Most residential transformations are completed in a few weeks to a couple of months once we've finalized the design and set your start date. We give you a clear timeline and milestones before the first scoop of dirt moves.
  • Do you handle the design too, or do I need a separate designer?
    We handle both. Every transformation comes with a free basic digital design from our in-house Project Design Specialist team — so you can see the whole yard in 3D before anything is installed and modify anything before construction begins.
  • What warranties cover a transformation project?
    Black Diamond offers some of the longest warranties in the industry: 27 years on paver installation, lifetime manufacturer warranty on concrete pavers, 10-year warranty on synthetic lawn, and 10-year warranty on aluminum pergolas and patio covers.
  • How much does a transformation cost?
    Costs vary by scope, square footage, and the materials you select. Our project minimum is around $6,500 with a 250 sq ft minimum. A typical full backyard transformation runs higher; a reasonable budget for a complete yard renovation is roughly 10% of your home's value. We give you a firm number with your free design.
